Securing the Montreal Protocol’s Legacy in this Decisive Decade for Climate Action
The decisions to be taken this year at the 35th Meeting of the Parties (MOP35) in Nairobi can shape the Montreal Protocol’s legacy in delivering emission reductions during this decisive decade for climate action. Maximising emission reductions before 2030 is critical. Donor countries must dig deep to rise to the challenge of the increasing scale of financial support for the Multilateral Fund. All Parties must come together and rise to the challenge of writing the next chapter of a successful legacy for the Montreal Protocol.
